Doable Guys Volume 9 Submissions

We are currently seeking submissions for the next volume of our anthology! Get your submissions in no later than MAY 1!

We are once again looking for your beautiful and sexy homoerotic art. Submissions can be anything from traditional fine art, digital art, or a short narrative comic. We want to know what a “doable guy” is to YOU as an individual, in your personal aesthetic. It doesn’t have to be explicit, but it is certainly encouraged! We are looking for artists of all genders and sexual orientations. All we ask is for the figures in the art to be male-identifying/presenting. As usual, all proceeds will go to the national LGBTQ+ charity, GLSEN*.

And just a reminder, as much as we would love to include everyone’s submissions in the next issue, depending on the amount we receive, we cannot guarantee you will be printed in the book. All decisions will be made within a week of the deadline. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

What we’re looking for!

  • Full color illustrations or short one page comics (either narrative or non-narrative)

  • Body positivity, all shapes and sizes

  • Diversity

  • Content from R all the way to XXX

  • Originality. We want what is sexualy alluring to YOU, not what other people might want

  • Preferably new material, but we understand time constraints. We just ask that it hasn’t been previously published (including on social media).

Things to avoid!

  • No likenesses of celebrities or fanart.

  • No depictions of anyone under the age of 18.

  • Nothing that could be considered hateful, non-consensual, or illegal.

What every artist selected will receive!

  • 1 page in the zine featuring the submission.

  • Credit with name, title (optional) and up to 2 links/social media handles in the table of contents at the start of the book.

  • 2 copies of the zine to keep or disperse as they please!

Submission Specs!

  • Please include the name you’d like printed, a maximum 2 links/social media handles, as well as a title for your piece, if there is one.

  • Printed size will be 5”x 7”. Delivered artwork should be sized 5.25” x 7.25” to include bleed (.125” on each side)

  • Vertical orientation is preferred, but not required.

  • 300 dpi (or higher), CMYK.

  • We can accept JPG, TIF, PSD, or PDF.

  • A basic photoshop template can be found here if you need help
