ARTIST: Kent Van Dusseldorp

Kent Van Dusseldorp’s graphic and fun style is incredibly distinct and his work truly stands out. We have had the pleasure of getting to know Kent over the past year through our weekly figure drawing sessions, and it is always wonderful to see his friendly face in the group! He also has a ton of experience on the other side of the easel as well, hosting 2 sessions every week with him modeling. In Kent’s own words:

“I started to draw the human figure in 2009. After modeling weekly for life drawing classes for 4 years, I absorbed a lot from listening to a variety of teachers. So, I decided to give it a try. Now I draw at least once a week. I have developed a recognizable style, but I continue to try new methods. My favorite subject is the nude male body and I don’t shy away from the erotic.”
